Antique French bedroom chair with cane webbing
This lovely maple wood bedroom chair with its slimline cabriolet legs was bought at an antique fair in France and traveled with its owner from Provance to England and then across the seas to America.
It enjoyed many views of the world under beautiful windows. From New York to California and so many places in between. It has undergone a few seat pad covers to suit the fashion of the time. The current 5cm thick seat cover was updated in 2010.
And only recently on its retirement journey to Ireland did it get a little bump and now has to find a new home. Poor thing ...
We oiled and rubbed her and washed her cover to reveal her true beauty.
You have got to see her, to appreciate that she is ageless and the little bump is nothing to worry about.
