After making the difficult decision in January 2022 to close our showroom in both Westport and Newport we took a break to gather our thoughts.
We loved the showroom, it was ticking over just fine and we were growing a bit every day. But you know what, at the end of the day, their is a fine balance between working hard and working smart.
2022 was spent getting our family life in order. I am not going to lie. Having a wonderful independent family unit was crucial in starting a business to begin with, and I think we would have been worse off had it not been for their support and independence.
We had to first find storage for all the stock we accumulated. And then we had to figure out what we were going to do.
